General Instructions for Parents and Students

At Chitra Krishnasswamy Vidyalaya, we believe that a strong partnership between the school, students, and parents is essential for a successful and enriching educational journey. The following guidelines help maintain discipline, ensure safety, and create a positive learning environment.

Instructions for Students

  • Students must attend school regularly and arrive on time, neatly dressed in the prescribed school uniform.
  • Respect for teachers, staff, fellow students, and school property is expected at all times.
  • Students must maintain discipline inside the classroom, during activities, and on the school premises.
  • Use of mobile phones, electronic gadgets, and inappropriate materials is strictly prohibited.
  • Homework and assignments should be completed and submitted on time without exception.
  • Students must carry their school diary and ID card every day.
  • Cleanliness and personal hygiene should be observed by all students.
  • Participation in morning assembly, physical education, and co-curricular activities is compulsory.
  • Students should refrain from using abusive language or engaging in physical fights.
  • Leave applications must be submitted in writing and sanctioned by the class teacher or principal.
  • Littering, damaging property, or writing on walls/desks is punishable.
  • Misbehavior during field trips or school events will attract disciplinary action.
  • Students are advised not to bring valuable items or large sums of money to school.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and strive for excellence in academics and behavior.
  • Any violation of school rules will result in corrective action or suspension, based on severity.

Instructions for Parents

  • Ensure your child attends school regularly, punctually, and is properly groomed.
  • Encourage your child to follow a study routine and provide support with homework and revision.
  • Check your child’s diary and school app regularly for updates, notices, and assignments.
  • Communicate any concerns regarding academic or behavioral issues directly with the class teacher.
  • Attend all Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) to stay informed of your child’s progress.
  • Inform the school promptly in case of long absences or medical conditions.
  • Do not send your child to school if he/she is unwell or contagious.
  • Avoid criticizing the school or staff in front of your child; direct concerns to the management respectfully.
  • Refrain from visiting classrooms or speaking to teachers during school hours without prior appointment.
  • Ensure your child brings only necessary materials to school—no valuables, toys, or mobile phones.
  • Pay school fees on or before the due date to avoid late penalties.
  • Cooperate with the school during events, examinations, and disciplinary matters.
  • Dress appropriately when visiting the school campus.
  • Encourage your child to participate in co-curricular activities and develop their talents.
  • Help us build a positive and safe environment by upholding school values and policies.
